Export tweets to CSV

Get the latest tweets of any public X account as a table and download them as a CSV file: text, date, link and engagement counts for each post. Free for a quick look; the API exports the full history page by page.

Latest posts from the profile timeline, without replies.

Complete the captcha to run the lookup. A few free lookups per day; public accounts only.

The latest tweets appear here as a table, ready to download as CSV.

How it works

How the tweets to csv works

  1. 01

    Enter the username

With or without @, or paste the profile link.

  2. 02

We load the first page of the timeline

Our server calls GET /user/{userId}/tweets?format=simple (by username), which returns each post with createdAt, text and counts.

  3. 03

    Check the table

Newest first, with likes, reposts and views.

  4. 04

    Download the CSV

The file is built in your browser; nothing is stored on our side.

Need this at scale? Get an API key

Export every page, not just the first: follow nextCursor until the timeline ends. About 20 posts per call, $0.09 per 1,000 calls at the standard price.

The free tool shows one page. With a key, the collector recipe pages through a whole search window and writes it to a file; the same loop works for timelines.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How do I export someone's tweets to CSV?

Enter the username, complete the captcha and press Get tweets. The table shows the latest posts; Download CSV saves them with ID, date, link, text, language, likes, reposts, replies, quotes, bookmarks, views and post type.

Why only about 20 tweets?

The free tool loads the first page of the timeline. The API returns older posts page by page: each response has a nextCursor, and you pass it to get the next page until you have what you need.

Does the CSV open in Excel and Google Sheets?

Yes. It is UTF-8 with a header row and standard quoting. Text that a spreadsheet could run as a formula (starting with =, +, -, @) gets a leading apostrophe, so it stays plain text.

Are replies and retweets included?

The profile timeline has the account's posts, reposts and quotes, but not its replies. The type column says which is which. The API has a separate endpoint for posts and replies.

Can I export tweets of a protected account?

No. Only public accounts can be read.
