Cost
A price per call that drops with volume
You pay per 1,000 API calls. The tier follows your top-ups of the last 30 days.
Budget example: 30,000,000 calls a month cost $1,950 on Scale and $2,700 on Standard. Calls that fail with 400, 408, 409 or a 5xx error are refunded at once.

We charge per call. The others charge per tweet, profile or post returned. A profile or tweet lookup is one call, so those numbers compare directly. Search, timeline and follower calls return a page of results, so your cost per tweet is lower than our per-call price. How much lower depends on the query; test it with the free credit. Prices checked on 2026-10-09.
Scale
Up to 1,000 requests per second, self-serve
Standard is included after the first top-up. Higher tiers are booked in the dashboard, active at once and paid monthly from the balance.

Integration
Simple JSON that fits your stack
Raw X JSON by default. Add format=simple for flat camelCase objects with a fixed schema: fields always present, IDs as strings, times in ISO 8601. Same price either way.
/user/{userId}/tweetsAndReplies
raw 81.7 KB → simple 24.2 KB

/user/{userId}/tweets
raw 72.2 KB → simple 22.8 KB
−68 %
/search
raw 34.3 KB → simple 14.4 KB
−58 %
Median over the endpoints we measured: 64 % smaller (58–70 %), less storage and egress at volume. Simple format
SDKs and integrations
Official SDKs, an MCP server for AI agents and nodes for automation tools. All open source. Every call they make is one billed API call.
Reliability
Check it yourself, live
We do not ask you to trust a number on this page. The status page shows p50 and p95 response times and the success rate per endpoint group, for the last 24 hours and 90 days.
- Retries before you see an error. A read that gets a 400 from one API server is retried on others (
X-Retried: true). You pay once. - You do not pay for failures. Calls that fail with 400, 408, 409 or a 5xx error are refunded at once; 429 is not charged.
- Backoff built in. The SDKs for Python, Node.js and Go retry 429 and 5xx with backoff.
Use cases
What you can build with it
Guides with working code and cost tables for the most common jobs.

- Social listening →Pull brand mentions, keyword searches, quotes and trends from X into Sheets, n8n, Make or your BI tool. A query every 10 minutes costs $0.39 a month./use-cases/social-listening

- No-code (n8n, Make) →Step by step: pull tweets, mentions, followers and trends from X into Google Sheets, Slack or Telegram with n8n or Make. No X developer account needed./use-cases/no-code
- Resellers →Resell X data with one key per customer: give each key its own budget, rate limit, endpoint allowlist and expiry, read per-key usage and export a monthly CSV. One account and balance from $0.065 per 1,000 calls, your own prices, no monthly plans, balance never expires./resellers

FAQ
Before you write to us
Is this the official X API?
No. TwittrAPI is a third-party API for public X data and is not affiliated with X Corp. If your rules require a contract with X, use the official API; our comparison with the official X API lays out the differences.
Is there a contract term or a minimum spend?
No. You top up a prepaid balance that does not expire, and calls are charged from it. Rate-limit tiers are monthly and can be cancelled any time.
We need more than 1,000 requests per second.
Send a request from the dashboard under Plan & limits with the limit you need and what it is for, or write to support@twittrapi.com. We set the limit and the monthly price with you.
Can each team, service or client get its own key?
Yes. Up to 25 additional keys per account (more on request), each with its own monthly cap or budget, rate limit, endpoints, expiry and usage export, billed to one balance. See Teams, resellers and agent keys in the docs.
Do you work with resellers?
Yes. Resell X data with one key per customer, each with its own budget, limits and usage export, billed to one balance at your own prices. See the Resellers page, or write to support@twittrapi.com.
What happens when the balance runs out?
Calls return 402 and are not charged. Auto top-up, available with card payments for businesses, refills the balance before it runs out.
